Dr. Druhan is the founder and director of the Northeast Texas Clarinet Day, an event which later evolved into the Texas Clarinet Colloquium (recipient of the 2011-2012 Community Seed Grant award from the College Music Society) and which has now grown into an international festival, the Clarinet Colloquium.
Our 2015 Clarinet Colloquium served nearly 400 people from around the globe in the heart of downtown Dallas for our first summer international festival.
Our smaller annual events held on the main university campus serve from 100-300 people and amazingly at NO COST TO ATTENDEES. Dr. Druhan and the students of the university work hard to provide this community outreach and engagement to all of our clarinet friends.
